We were commissioned to provide ventilation with heat recovery (MVHR). As the tenant suffered with allergies, we had the added specification of extra filtration.
We fitted an MVHR system and further protected the dwelling with an additional filtration system.
The filtration system we fitted has much finer filters than the standard internal filters of the MVHR system, it also included carbon filters. Carbon filters dramatically reduce nitrogen dioxide (NO2) claimed up to 98%.
Nitrogen dioxide, NO2, is prominent in exhaust fumes from diesel engines.
As a result, the home occupier was happy that the dwelling was now properly ventilated with improved filtration. The finer particulates of household dust, as well as the emissions of the diesel engine, have been greatly reduced.

The system
The Titon system fitted with Trimbox NO2 filters has the added benefit of filtering out any pollutants and dust, which ensures the inside of the house remains clean and healthy.
The requirements of ventilation from the viewpoint of comfortable living conditions are to meet a good exchange of indoor and outdoor air. Insulated, airtight homes will seal in harmful pollutants, such as carbon monoxide and moisture that can damage the house.
